It's a shame, stop by if you're passing through perhaps but I wouldn't go out of my way to return to this Hard Rock again.Īfter 2 other not so great visits, we thought we would give Hard Rock another go. Even though it was 2pm and the restaurant was a 3rd full. Overall the staff didn't seem to have any enthusiasm about serving us.
We had the spicy shrimp for starters and then the local legendary (Lobster Roll - Same as Boston Hard Rock) which were both delicious. Our food arrived, and the server placed the food down and walked away before I could ask for sauces as we had none on our table. I said it wasn't a major issue as the one they, brought I also liked. When the cocktails arrived, one of them was wrong. this seemed bazaar, as we needed to be ID for entry regardless. Once seated we had to show our passports again when the waitress took our drink orders. Upon entry we were turned away by staff due to not having passports for ID (British Driving Licence were not accepted, something that no other place has required.) We collected our passports and returned with them. I visited over 30 Hard Rocks over the USA & Europe, and I must admit it is rare to be disappointed - alas on this occasion Foxwoods didn't deliver.
